What You’ll Do:
- Hand package filled containers into cardboard boxes as they progress down from conveyor line and tape boxes and ready for palletizing;
- Observes & fills inclusions into proper equipment and sets controls to meet recipe requirements;
- Inspect filled container to ensure product is packaged according to specifications;
- Check for leaks and other minor defects;
- End of shift prepare for sanitation process. Disassemble equipment parts for washing;
- Perform housekeeping tasks on shift;
- Perform other duties and activities that may be assigned.
What You Need to Get the Job Done:
- High School Diploma required or a combination of equivalent experience;
- Previous machine operator or packing experience strongly preferred ideally from a food/beverage manufacturing environment;
- Good verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with others in a respectful, positive and collaborative manner;
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks;
- Extended periods of standing, and other physically demanding conditions (i.e. lifting up to 25kg);
- Able to work as a team member.
