Be part of exciting growth within Consentium, the Kāinga Ora Building Consent Authority (BCA) which provides consenting services exclusively to Kāinga Ora.

The team takes great pride in receiving the Innovator of the Year Award at the Excellence Awards.

We have ambitious goals and with our own accredited BCA we can focus on providing homes at pace, leveraging scale and quality.

We target residential and commercial state house builds as well as a comprehensive nationwide retrofit programme with an efficient, paperless, and compliant process.

You'll be working with a group of talented new and experienced building control officers with a dynamic and fresh culture.

There's opportunities at all levels of building regulatory control including quality assurance, administration, consent processing and inspection domains.

The Consent Processor reports to the Consent Processing Team Leader. The role is responsible for processing of documentation for building consent applications to ensure residential building work e.

g. R1 to R3 is compliant with the NZ Building Code.
