An exciting opportunity has become available for an individual to join our team as a Broking Leader, CEEMEA .
Please note, this role can be based either in London or a CEEMEA location.
The Role
As Head of Broking / Carrier Management CEEMEA you will lead the Corporate Risk and Broking community across the region to deliver a differentiated client experience from the broking solution across Central Eastern Europe Middle East and Africa.
You will manage the business pipeline and sales opportunities working closely with the relevant Geography leads and the relevant Head of Broking in the CEEMEA countries.
You will put the interests of clients and the integrity of the markets at the heart of the way you do business whilst you will
Build strong C-suite relationships with carriers and be the key interface with the Insurer Executive Leadership in the Geography
Create a consistency of Broking activities across the Lines of Business within the region
Co-ordinate the delivery of Broking solutions to Clients within the region
Bring the broking transformation programme to life within the region
Execute the Corporate Risk & Broking (CRB) Carrier Management strategy within the region
Develop and maintain client relationships as agreed within the region
Understand market trends to deliver a vision of the future
Manage and drive Market Derived Income (including governance) within the geography
Give inclusive leadership, direction, advice and guidance to the team maintaining high levels of integrity, motivation and morale
The requirements
Degree, or MBA level (or country equivalent) education
Solid track record in a senior Broker role with evidence of a highly professional and credible approach across the broking market community,
Extensive knowledge of the insurance market and ability to understand potential conflicts of interest in Broking activities
Professional qualifications such as ACII or similar country equivalent, or relevant industry experience
Holds all regulatory licenses, permissions and technical or other requirements applicable under local legislation.
Excellent leadership skills, with a proven track record of developing people
Excellent understanding of client and technical issues and capability to solve client issues
Strong skills in planning and budgeting
High levels of business and financial acumen with an understanding of company strategy and change management
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence within a matrix environment
Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills in English
