1. Job Summary
Responsible for Modern Trade sales within a specified area He / she will be required to grow the assigned territory in Both Volume and Value of Sales.
Establish and manage winning trading relationships with the key contacts in the allocated portfolio for the overall benefit of the business.
2. Main Responsibilities / Tasks
o Grow the sales volumes within the assigned territories for all modern trade Outlets
o Generate orders and drive prompt delivery with prudent management of all documentations
o Lead and manage merchandisers to ensure that they meet key performance indicators
o Expand customer base through new outlets recruitment in the territory with 100% coverage of all MT outlets
o Draw JBP for key accounts outlets to deliver sales target Volume, value
o Ensure requisite product portfolio mix to deliver GP Value
o Follow-up on Receivables and Overdue Invoices, thereby improving business opportunities within the accounts.
o Provide interface between customers with the relevant stakeholders (marketing, finance, supply chain) to guarantee growth and customer satisfaction.
o Ensure price compliance in all modern trade outlets within assigned territory.
o POSM deployment and data base management to ensure a maximum instore visibility all time
o Propose and execute promotion initiatives within assigned accounts to achieve target sales revenue in a profitable manner.
o Achieve product availability in all modern trade point of sales at all time
o Identify and negotiate listings and on shelf facings preferably at eye level for strategic focus brands for optimum off take
o Drive and maintain numeric distribution by product category in the modern trade channel
o Brief customers on price changes and new products launch
o Solve customer complaints and challenges where possible
o Provide Competitor Market Intelligence : Monitor all relevant marketing activities in the area competitor price matrix, sales activation, new product launch, visibility campaign, trial, sales promotion, competitors price reduction and any other.
o Category Management : respect and follow the planogram. On a monthly basis he / she will measure and monitor the KPI’s of share of shelf for BIC and competitors
