Service Support Associate

Job Description: Only located in Kitchener or Hamilton, ON.
At Canada Life, our Customers are at the center of what we do. As a Service Support Associate, you will provide in-house service and administrative support to our Group Retirement Services client service team. With a focus on customer service, well-developed communication skills and excellent Microsoft Office knowledge, you will handle a multitude of tasks that support the service delivery for our clients and consultants
What you will do

  • Assist service team with the preparation of stewardship reports.
  • Maintain the stewardship template and make quarterly updates.
  • Maintain a variety of checklists on process.
  • Responsible for quarterly and ad-hoc reporting requests for clients and consultants.
  • Ordering employee enrolment materials.
  • Provide other administrative support as needed to enhance the client experience, contributing to an efficient, energized and effective Group Customer Team.
  • Provide back-up support to other positions on the team as required.

  • Proficient in using E-mail, Word, Excel & PowerPoint, aptitude for learning new technology

  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Knowledge of the group retirement industry is an asset
  • In addition to this the successful candidate will be required to successfully complete the Group Retirement Primer online study course under the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist Program
